Special visitors

The organizational freak in me is slightly panicking that this post in not in correct order, but I couldn't NOT share our amazing visit from my Uncle Norman and Aunt Melissa...
They arrived May 12 ( I know, I'm crazy late in posting this!!) and stayed for 2 weeks! They did build in a few days break from our crazy loud kiddos to travel to a few days in Switzerland! Genuis! ha!!


We had really great weather their entire trip...only a few sprinkles of rain here and there so we were really able to get out and enjoy our area! First up though was a soccer tournament for Michael...it was SO special having them there to watch this kids play!!

It should also be noted that my Uncle is an amazing cook and was kind enough to make us dinner a few nights...such a treat!! The kids had a BLAST hanging out with their Aunt and Uncle! I don't know how I don't have a picture of it, but somehow Allie and Michael each ended up with pretty sweet new scooters during their trip here...those kids know how to work it! haha!

There hasn't been a day that they have left that the kids haven't asked about when they're coming back!! On Mother's Day everyone indulged me and we took a boat ride across the lake to the town of Constance to walk around and explore a bit....

We also had to take them to some of our favorite spots! We took the gondola up the mountain in Bregenz (like we did when Chris' mom was here) and had dinner at our of our favorite restaurants with some of the most gorgeous views!!

We were all pretty devastated when they left to go home (seriously, I cried for like 3 days!!)  having them here was so wonderful...and watching the two of them together was nothing short of magical. The love and true enjoyment they have for one another is truly inspiring to see...I'm so happy they have each other...and we're so lucky they came to visit!!!
